About

Beth Deans is a London-based artist who uses, and has always used, art-making as a healing tool and to connect deeper with themselves. Their creative practice is fluid which can be seen in the evolution of their work throughout the years. Their background consists of a variety of mediums including performance, writing and painting.

Beth first came to London in 2015 to study BA Performance Art at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in which their primary focus explored movement, 1-2-1 performance and poetry. They will be continuing their studies in MA Integrative Arts Psychotherapy at The Institute For Arts in Therapy and Education as they wish to engage with the healing properties of creativity to a deeper extent.

In a world of constantly advancing technology that seems to separate us from one another, Beth advocates for the power of all arts and their contribution to well-being, wellness and their ability to dance with our souls.
